I had the pleasure of trying the Biggie in a Blanket during my visit, and let me tell you, it truly lives up to its name. The thick chicken sausage dipped in buttermilk pancake batter and topped with bourbon and bacon-infused syrup is a flavor explosion in every bite. And don't get me started on their creamy dreamy grits - they are a must-try!

This location is smaller than the Village District location. They were busy when we entered, cleaning off tables, etc. That was fine but it was weird that no one acknowledged us for several minutes. When they did we were seated fairly quickly. I ordered my usual, the Hollywood omelette and creamy dreamy grits. I also happened to notice on the menu that they had gluten free toast. I asked the waitress if I could have that instead of biscuit. She said yes and did not say anything about an upcharge and the menu didn't either. When the bill arrived I was charged extra for the toast. Had I known I wouldn't have ordered it because it was typical boring gluten free bread. Still a good meal and experience but would encourage staff to clarify if there is an upcharge for something.

Biggie in a blanket lived up to the name. THICK piece of sausage in a thin coating of batter. Delicious but next time will get maple syrup/I don't think the big thick sausage thing is really for me.

If you love burgers, PLEASE get the breakfast burger. It is one of the best burgers in the triangle. They put half of an avocado on there and despite getting it every single Sunday, my boyfriend has never been disappointed by it and looks forward to it every week. With that out of the way, we have been coming here every week for about two months and I've tried something different every time and have never been disappointed in anything. I'm not a fan of grits but their grits are AMAZING. I'm a big fan of their breakfast tacos too. There is usually quite a wait but definitely worth it because the food and the starter biscuits are always great.

I had the Salmon scramble ($15) which is what I called Lox. It was excellent with the eggs being almost wet which is my favorite. Wife had eggs biscuits and gravy ($12) which was way more than she could eat. We will definitely return.

About 18 months later we were back again. The same great service and still the dog photos on the walls. The Breakfast tacos were a good new try (see photo)

First time here and really enjoyed it. Everyone loved their food. Waffles and chicken was a big hit. We were a party of ten and food came very quick. They have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. They started use with a biscuit with Apple butter. It was sooooo delicious. I had scrambled tofu and potatoes. It was very good. You will not be disappointed if you come to The Flying Biscuit.

We had. Great brunch at The Flying Biscuit recently. The star of the show here is really the biscuits and I love that they give them as an appetizer. They come with apple butter for topping. We also ordered the frickles for a starter. They came out hot and had a good crispness to them. They were good but kind of average in terms of flavor. The batter could have been seasoned better. As my entree I ordered the Biggie in a Blanket. It was two large chicken sausages dipped in batter, similar to a corn dog. The sausages had a nice flavor to them and I liked them dipped in the syrup for some sweetness.

I'm a brunch person and love that they have a variety. I love the shrimp and grits! That hit the spot. Our waiter, Jessica, is awesome! She's so friendly, and attentive. The slogans are soo funny. Good vibe.

I'm a fan! I was in the Raleigh airport area and looking for brunch. Ended up at this new location of Flying Biscuit Cafe. According to their website, the Flying Biscuit Cafe has been opened for 30+ years in Atlanta, GA. It has now grown to 29+ locations in Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, and Texas. Food is Southern inspired. Most famous for biscuits and grits! I really love their biscuits. The child in me screams "It's So Fluffy"! Their grits were uber uber creamy. For entree, I tried their Southern Style Benedict. I really like Pimento Cheese. I also tried their BlueBerry Lemonade Mocktail. Yum!! My friend tried their Classic Benedict with Grits and their Buttermilk Pancake on the side. This was his first time trying Southern Breakfast; he gave it a 3.5. Service was attentive. Our waitress was friendly. Ambiance is casual. ENJOY!!
